Warehouse rental costs are rising rapidly in Ukraine
A significant increase in warehouse rental prices is being observed in Ukraine. Over the last few months, the cost of renting such premises has risen by 12%. Experts attribute this trend to an acute shortage of available space in the real estate market.
The main reason for this situation is the large-scale destruction of infrastructure as a result of hostilities. Due to Russian shelling, Ukraine has lost more than 2 million square meters of warehouse space. Many logistics centers have been damaged or completely destroyed, which has created major difficulties for businesses.
The shortage of space is forcing entrepreneurs to look for new options for storing goods, yet supply in the market remains limited. This creates competition between companies, which, in turn, leads to further growth in rental rates in various regions of the country.
Currently, businesses are forced to adapt to new economic conditions. Experts note that the situation in the warehouse real estate market will remain tense until new facilities appear or destroyed capacities are restored.
