State-owned enterprise Sumykhimprom is being prepared for privatization
The State Property Fund of Ukraine has announced plans to put the large chemical enterprise Sumykhimprom up for privatization. The auction for the sale of the company's assets is scheduled for October 13. This decision is part of a state program to modernize industrial facilities and attract new investments into the country's economy.
Sumykhimprom is one of the most important enterprises for Sumy and the entire region. It plays a key role in filling the local budget and providing jobs for thousands of residents of the region. Thanks to its production capacities, the plant occupies a significant place in the chemical industry of Ukraine.
The plant's main specialization is the production of mineral fertilizers. The enterprise produces more than 30 brands of NPK fertilizers, which have different ratios of nutrients. This product is important for the Ukrainian agricultural sector, as it helps to increase crop yields.
It is expected that privatization will help modernize production lines and improve the financial condition of the plant. New owners will have the opportunity to invest in technologies, which will allow the enterprise to operate more efficiently in modern market conditions. The authorities hope that this step will contribute to the stable development of the region in the future.
