France to grant Ukraine licenses for the production of its own missiles
French President Emmanuel Macron has announced an important decision regarding defense cooperation with Ukraine. The French side will officially grant Ukraine licenses for the production of missiles developed in France.
This decision is part of a strategy to support the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex. By obtaining these licenses, Ukraine will be able to independently manufacture necessary weaponry at its own facilities, which will significantly strengthen its defense capabilities in the long term.
Cooperation between Kyiv and Paris in the field of military technology is becoming increasingly close. The transfer of licenses will not only allow for the faster provision of necessary strike assets to the army but will also reduce logistical dependence on supplies from abroad.
At present, details regarding the types of missiles and the timelines for the start of production have not been disclosed. However, this step is an important signal of support from European partners who continue to assist Ukraine in countering Russian aggression.
