New Grant Scheme Launched to Help Prevent Gambling Harms in the UK
A new funding opportunity has been announced to support community efforts in preventing gambling-related harm across the United Kingdom. The Gambling Harms Prevention Grant Scheme 2026/27 is now accepting applications from voluntary and community-based organisations.
The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to groups that work directly with the public to reduce the negative impacts of gambling. By offering grants between £5,000 and £8,000, the programme hopes to empower local organisations to develop projects that promote safer gambling habits and provide support to those affected.
Organisations that are successful in their applications will be expected to use the funds to deliver educational initiatives or support services within their local areas. This initiative is part of a broader effort to address the social challenges associated with gambling, ensuring that communities have the resources needed to protect vulnerable individuals.
Interested groups are encouraged to review the specific requirements and deadlines for the 2026/27 funding cycle. This grant represents a significant opportunity for local charities and non-profit organisations to expand their reach and make a positive difference in the lives of people struggling with gambling issues.
