80% of Venezuelans reject violence and prefer peace
Recently, important data on public opinion in Venezuela has been published. According to official reports and international studies, the vast majority of the population prefers peaceful solutions to resolve the country's problems. This desire for stability and tranquility has become a central theme in the current social agenda.
Ernesto Villegas, Minister of Culture, highlighted that approximately 80% of Venezuelans reject any form of violence or extreme conflict. This figure comes from recent research and surveys analyzed within the framework of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), which reinforces the validity of these results.
To foster this atmosphere of harmony, the "Program for Peace and Democratic Coexistence" has been promoted. To date, this initiative has allowed for the organization of meetings with 30 different sectors of civil society. In these encounters, various groups have had the opportunity to present their points of view and analyze the current situation of the country in a constructive manner.
The main objective of these dialogues is to avoid the conflictive situations that have affected the nation in the past. Participants in these working groups seek to establish a path based on mutual respect and coexistence, setting aside confrontations that do not benefit citizens in their daily lives.
In conclusion, the results of these studies show a clear trend toward the search for peace in Venezuela. Dialogue between different social sectors is presented as the fundamental tool for resolving differences and building a more stable and secure future for all the country's inhabitants.
