Coromoto Godoy presents credentials to the UN as Venezuela's representative
Coromoto Godoy has officially begun her work as the permanent representative of Venezuela to the United Nations (UN). This Thursday, the diplomat presented her credentials, a formal and necessary step to exercise her functions at the headquarters of the international organization in New York.
During the official ceremony, Godoy highlighted that her main mission will be to represent her country's voice under the principles of the so-called "Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy." This approach seeks to promote dialogue and national sovereignty on the global stage, defending Venezuela's interests before the other member countries of the organization.
Godoy's arrival in this position is a key move for Venezuelan foreign policy. As ambassador, she will have the responsibility of participating in international debates on fundamental issues such as peace, security, and sustainable development. Her work will allow the country to maintain an active presence in the decisions made within the United Nations.
With this official presentation, Venezuela reaffirms its intention to participate in the multilateral system. Ambassador Godoy will work from now on to strengthen international relations and bring her government's message to the international community, at a time of significant global political and social challenges.
