Yellow warning: Heavy rain and strong winds are coming
The Dutch meteorological office KNMI has issued a yellow warning covering all of the Netherlands, with forecasts of thunderstorms starting from 3 PM on Sunday.
KNMI warned that these storms could be severe, accompanied by strong winds that may cause local flooding. It also indicated the possibility of hailstones reaching two centimeters in diameter in some areas.
The temperatures range from 23 degrees Celsius in the north and on the Wadden Sea islands, to 26 degrees Celsius in the south.
The storms are expected to subside during the night, with the upcoming week witnessing variable weather, a drop in temperatures, and rainfall on most days.
Nevertheless, some sunny periods are expected between the rains, with a decrease in the likelihood of precipitation as the weekend approaches.
