The Leopoldstadt area in Vienna experienced a significant security alert on Saturday after a suspicious object, suspected to be explosive, was found. The object was discovered on Saturday afternoon in the "Jisweitenfiese" area, prompting police intervention, which led to a wide closure of the area, supported by teams of dogs trained to detect explosives. No other suspicious objects were found during the search operations.
